This collaboration is essential in ensuring that services are effective, appropriate, and meet the demand within the local area.
Our relationships with these partners are just as important as our relationships with our tenants, so that we can continue to provide suitable housing to those who need it.
“The Priory is now in the fourth year of working in partnership with Chrysalis housing and we have developed several properties. We have found that the quality of the properties developed are to a high standard, meeting the needs of people with complex needs.
They continue to maintain their property standards by been very responsive to all repairs which are completed in a quick and timely manner. Chrysalis work in partnership with us as the care provider to respond to any issues and jointly resolve in the best interests of tenants.”

“We like working in partnership with Chrysalis as we share that same core values, putting the people we support at the centre of what they do. We have had positive experiences where Chrysalis stepped in to purchase a property and develop it to the specification we required, and to support one very complex individual to understand his tenancy. This was all done at very short notice, this whole experience could have been very difficult to navigate, but Chrysalis made the process smooth for us as the support provider and the individual moving in.
As a support provider it's refreshing to work in partnership with a housing provider that is solution focussed and understands that every day is different and one size does not always fit all. As a support provider we are always advocating for Chrysalis to be a preferred housing partner with our key commissioning relationships, especially when it comes to our new development growth projects”.

This collaboration has had a positive impact on autistic people and their choice of living more inclusive and integrated lives within their local communities.”

“Working with Chrysalis is plain sailing, any issues that arise are actioned immediately. Wayne is always cheery and goes to lengths to ensure any issues are dealt with correctly and promptly, he also is very interactive with the service user which means an awful lot to him. Rod who takes care of our maintenance is nothing but excellent always completing tasks quickly and to his best ability. Overall we are extremely pleased with the services we receive from Chrysalis.”

“SS moved into her bungalow in Nov 2018. Since her move we have noticed a change in her behaviour over time. She seems to thrive on having her own space. Previously SS had been very anxious about clutter, for instance, and would try to dispose of any objects lying around down the toilet, including bedding and clothing. However, since she has moved this has completely stopped. We believe it is because she feels secure in her environment and doesn’t feel the need to make adjustments and control her environment as much.
SS and her team have built good relationships with the maintenance team, who visit regularly and nothing is too much trouble. For instance, the maintenance team have helped the ladies move compost bags and other heavy items, which is outside the sphere of their responsibility but they have gone out of their way to be helpful and work in a team oriented way, for which we are grateful.
The team also look forward to the Housing Officer's visits and find that he is responsive to their requests. Chrysalis staff have become known and welcomed faces and have also been supportive with issues we had with a neighbour.”
